Crop varieties and seed industry in Yugoslavia

Over 80 different agricultural plant species are presently grown on about 4 million hectares in Yugoslavia. These are classified into 8 groups: grain plants, industrial, fodder, vegetable, fruit, grape Dine, erosion control, and medicinal plants, This paper reports plan[ breeding progress and seed production for the first four groups.
