Shenhua’s November coal output rises 18.9% to 15.7 million mt

China Shenhua Energy Co. - the listed subsidiary of China’s largest coal miner China Shenhua Group - said its commercial coal output rose 18.9% year-on-year to 15.7 million mt in November but sales last month dropped 5.2%, according to a December 15 company statement. Shenhua’s coal sales in November dropped by 5.2% year-on-year to 18.2 million mt. Of that, coal exports represented 2.2 million mt in November, equal to the same period of 2007.
