Mexico's CFE to import 3 million mt/year for Petacalco plant

Mexican state-owned utility Comision Federal de Electricidad, or CFE, said it intends to sign coal import contracts to supply at least 50% of the 5.5 million mt annual demand for its 2,100 MW Petacalco coal power plant located on the Pacific coast in Guerrero state.
