China Coal unit receives NDRC approval for Australian joint venture

MetroCoal Ltd. of Australia said Friday China Coal Import & Export Company (CCIEC), a wholly owned subsidiary of China National Coal Group Corp. (China Coal), has received approval from the Chinese government’s National Development Reform Commission (NDRC) in relation to a A$30 million ($26.32 million) joint coal venture agreement.
