February propylene contracts were nominated 5-6 cents/lb higher early in the week, sources told Platts. Equistar nominated February propylene contracts in the US up 6 cents/lb while ExxonMobil was heard to have nominated up 5 cents/lb. ExxonMobil later was heard to have revised its nomination to plus 8 cents/lb however confirmation was not immediately available. In spot propylene prices gained 3.5 cents/lb week on week as February contracts were nominated higher. Spot activity was thin Monday following a late Friday trade heard done at 52.25 cents/lb MtB pipe.
