Newland Resources’ shares were sent rocketing skywards on the Australian Securities Exchange Monday after the hitherto obscure exploration company announced the acquisition of six coal tenements covering 1,900 square km of prime exploration ground in the sought-after Bowen Basin coking coal region of Queensland, Australia.
