European spot LDPE values were poised for some recovery as lower end offers started to fade away sources said this week. Previous volume overhang seen in MFI-2 without additive grades was slowly evaporating as material had now mostly found a home. Producers said that buying interest from traders and distributors appeared keener, with commitment to volume less reticent. European producers were also now encouraged by improving export economics, with markets such as Turkey and North Africa posting a recovery. A producer reported exporting 3,000mt of LDPE to Africa.
