The Asian butadiene market stayed bullish this week, as tight supply due to plant problems led to active spot demand for July-delivery cargoes. Prices basis CFR China were particularly strong, jumping $100/mt on the week, as delays to the opening of a 120,000 mt/year butadiene plant in Fujian prompted active buying for July delivery.
