PX: Edged $2 lower Friday to end the week at $904/mt FOB Korea and $922/mt CFR Taiwan/China. There were no participants during the Platts Market on Close assessment process, and the bid level fell throughout the day, from $925/mt CFR in the morning for July-arrival Asian-origin parcels to $920/mt CFR by afternoon. Offers were heard at $930-940/mt CFR. A South Korea producer felt sellers would not want to sell below $930/mt — even though that was a “decent” bid level.
