The June Brazilian propylene contract price was heard at $1,149/mt FOB, a drop of price of 12% in dollars compared to May. In Brazil, the propylene price formula usually follows the US and European contract movements with a month lag. In May, US propylene contracts went down 16%, and in Europe they were down by 6%. Downstream, following the raw material price reduction, Brazilian PP offers to Chile fell $150/mt related to May. Brazilian PP offers to Chile were at $1,650-1,700/mt CFR for co-polymer.
