FOB KOREA: Prices were stable this week as slowing buying appetite was offset by persisting tight supplies. Strong buying appetite for FOB NEA cargoes stalled this week as traders decided to look for spot cargoes elsewhere, such as in the Americas as an arbitrage window was open. A 9,000 mt spot cargo was fixed from the US to Asia earlier this week. The quantity represents three standard-sized regional spot cargoes. Amid this, traders were reluctant to raise their bids more than $1,300/mt FOB Korea/Taiwan.
