Pemex stopped its Morelos cracker on August 1 for a maintenance shutdown that was expected to last at least 30 days, said a company source. The Morelos cracker is responsible for 750 mt/month of chemical grade propylene (CGP), while the Cangrejera steam cracker, which will continue normal operations, can produce another 750 mt of chemical grade propylene monthly.
