EDC: Activity in the ethylene dichloride market wassubdued this week with no trades reported. EDC fell $10/mtweek-on-week to be assessed at $380/mt FOB NWE on theback of sluggish VCM demand downstream. Upstream, meanwhile, integrated PVC producers were heard trimmingtheir chlorine production as demand from both PVC andnon-PVC applications, such as polyurethanes andpolycarbonates, was slow. In Asia, EDC shed $50/mt to beassessed at $355/mt CFR Far East and Southeast Asia.
