The PTA assessment ended at $1,216/mt CFRChina/Southeast Asia for Taiwan-origin cargoes Friday,gaining $9/mt week on week. The weekly average gained$24/mt from last week to $1,221/mt CFR China. PTA pricesgained strength between Monday and Wednesday,supported by the slight uptrend in the futures traded onthe Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange. The benchmarkSeptember futures closed Yuan 28 ($4.32) higher week onweek at Yuan 9,746/lot Friday.
