Asian paraxylene prices fell Friday on the back of weak buyingdemand, and dropping energy, as the forward curve flattened.Prices on both a CFR Taiwan/China basis and a FOB Korea basisfell $14.50/mt day on day to $1,396/mt and $1,374/mt,respectively. PX has been falling since Tuesday as demand fromdownstream products softens, and offers were dominant in themarket.
