The US butadiene contract price was settled higher for June,with three producers at 150 cents/lb — up 9 cents — andone producer at 165 cents/lb — up 20 cents. “That seemslike a wide spread [between the contract prices], but afterfees and other charges, they’re probably about the same,” asource said. The contract price remained well below the USspot price, though, which was pushed higher this week asshipments of rubber from Asia were not impacting demandas originally though. “In the spot market there is no productaround,” a source said.
