LDPE export prices increased in the US despite a lack of offers. Traders said they would pay at 60 cents/lb in railcars or 62.5 cents/lb FAS ($1,378/mt) but there was very little material available. There was a one off deal earlier in the week at 57 cents/lb in railcars but with bids at 60 cents/lb on Wednesday, several traders believed 57 cents/lb was too at low and a producer would be leaving money on the table with such a price.
