A Paraguayan buyer said he bought in December from Brazil at $1,300/mt CIF with freight cost at $70/mt. A Brazilian LLDPE producer told Platts January offer prices to Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia could be stable. Brazilian offers to Argentina would increase $100/mt next month. Following the increase, January offers to Argentina were heard at $1,450-1,500/mt CFR butene, $1,510-1,560/mt CFR hexene and at $1,700-1,750/mt CFR octene. For the Brazilian domestic market, offer prices for January could go up Reals 200/mt, said a producer.
