Top Gazprom executive exits; new No.2 man named

The board of Russia's natural gas monopoly Gazoprom approved Dec 17 the resignation of Pyotr Rodionov, deputy head of the executive committee. Alexander Ananenkov, general director of Gazprom;'s 100%-owned production subsidiary Yamburggazdobycha, hs been brought to Moscow from West Siberia to replace Rodionov. Ananenkov will oversee matters relatingto productionof the executive committee, where he will be second in command to new CEO Alexei Miller.
