Once the dust settles in 2007 from a house-cleaning by Nexen,the Canadian independent is hoping to push production as high as 350,000 boe/d.The asset shuffle took another step forward July 4 when the company announced it is close to selling conventional oil and gas properties in Western Canada for about CUS946-mil(US766-mil)at the same time it is gearing up to spin off its chemicals division as an income trust.
