Murphy drills second dry well at Sabah

New York- Murphy Oil Feb 2 said it will take a us20-mil dry hole charge on its Penaga No.1 well,its second dry hole in the deepwater Block H offshore Sabah,Malaysia.The well has been plugged and abandoned. Murphy's Block H Dengkis well came up dry in the third quarter,a spokeswoman said. Murphy has no plans to return to the block through 2005,she added,noting the company will "concentrate our drilling efforts at Block K."
