MMS clears Beaufort Sea lease sale for March 2005

Washington-The Beaufort Sea oil and gas sale,scheduled for Mar 30,2005,is not expected to have new,significant environmental impacts,the Minerals Management Service said July 26.The MMS environmental assessment evaluated new information available since an environmental impact statement done prior to a September 2003 sale in the Beaufort Sea.
