BP notes fall in refining margins in 4Q

BP said Jan 9 its marketing and refining margins dropped quarter-on-quarter in the final quarter of 2003,though oil and gas prices were largely in line with forecasts.In a quaterly trading update,BP said refining margins fell to US3.14/bbl in fourth-quarter 2003 from US4.59/bbl in third quarter,but were up from US2.76/bbl in fourth-quarter 2002.
