Barrow Island LNG project wins approval

The Western Australian state government Sep 8 gave in-principle approval for Chevron Texaco to use Barrow Island as the site for processing facilities for its proposed AUS11-bil (US7-bil) development of the Gorgon offshore natural gas field.
