China July unwrought Mg exports rise 21% on year to 17,892 mt

China's exports of unwrought magnesium with a minimum magnesium content of 99.8% rose to 17,892 mt in July, up 21.1% year on year, data released Thursday by the General Administration of Customs showed. July exports were, however, down 7.6% from June. Market sources said the drop was mainly due to weak overseas demand during the summer lull.
