摘要

High-sensitivity differential scanning calorimetry was used to study the phase transitions of isolated tomato cv. Caruso fruit cuticles. The glass transition temperature of whole cuticular membranes was -30鳦, while that of cutin was -47鳦. A weak secondary polymer transition was observed in the isolated cuticles at 30鳦, followed by an endothermic event ascribed to the melting of the cuticular waxes.
