This evaluation was conducted in a 22-year-old commercial vineyard in the Carneros region of Napa County, California with a total of 32 biological and synthetic fungicide treatment programs. Treatments were assigned to two-vine plots in a randomized complete block design with 4 replications per treatment. All treatments were applied four times: on 15 Jun (bloom), 12 Jul? (pre-close), 25 Aug (early veraison) and 30 Sept (pre-harvest). Materials were applied in 200 gal water/A using a backpack sprayer(Model SR420, Stihl, Inc., 536 Viking Drive, Virginia Beach, VA, 23452) unless otherwise mentioned. Basal leaves around fruit clusters on the north side of vines were removed on 10 Jul for better coverage of fruit clusters. Disease incidence and severitywere assessed on 13 Oct. Disease incidence was determined as the percentage of rated clusters showing the presence of infection in each plot and severity was determined by visually estimating the percentage of infected berries per cluster.
