The department of analytical chemistry of the University of Alicante in Spain has developed a Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) automatic measurement device,which can obtain this value in just tenminutes.This considerably reduces the reaction time because microwave radiation is used as the heating method.They are looking for a manufacturing agreement.
