What is OSHA citing?

Based on the number of citations issued in the most recent federal government fiscal year, which ended on Sept. 30,2011, here are the safety issues that are the primary focus of OSHA enforcement. The hazard that OSHA addresses most frequently in citations has to do with missing or inadequate fall protection. Particular hazards cited include insufficiently protected elevated work areas or travel ways, roof area hazards of all types and open holes through which people might fall or be injured.
