Exact results for two-dimensional Coulomb systems

Four review topics concerning exact results for two-dimensional Coulomb systems are covered. These are the two-dimensional one-component plasma at a special value of the coupling, the two-dimensional Coulomb gas at the same special value of the coupling, exact results in the form of sum rules and asymptotic formulas deduced from physical principles, and a solvable model exhibiting a Kosterlitz-Thouless-like pairing transition.
