Constructal law and the design of pedestrian dynamics. Comment on 'The emergence of design in pedestrian dynamics: Locomotion, self-organization, walking paths and constructal law' by Antonio F. Miguel

摘要

During the last decade, results of a large body of work in many areas show, like revealing a large puzzle, the conceptual strength and the generalizing character of a new thermodynamic approach on the evolution in time of the natural systems far from equilibrium, the Constructal Law. A simple Internet search reveals hundreds of peer reviewed papers on the Constructal Law topic and a large number of results for the most diverse areas of knowledge. The few mentioned in here have only been chosen for illustrating the great diversity of matters successfully addressed until now.
