Semiclassical limit of the scattering Coulomb wave function

We present an alternative derivation of the semiclassical limit of the scattering Coulomb wave function. The result is expressed as a sum over classical paths. Each contribution is factorized in two terms, namely the square root of the classical particle density and a phase factor corresponding to the classical action. [S1050-2947(98)05712-6].
