摘要

Inoculation studies with 1 line of wild oat (Avena fatua) and cultivated oat (A. sativa) cultivars Lustre and Peniarth were conducted to determine whether the wild line was more tolerant of E. graminis than the cultivated oat. The results revealed that the wild oat was significantly more tolerant than cv. Peniarth and slightly more tolerant than Lustre. The greater tolerance levels of the wild oat and cv. Lustre compared with Peniarth were related to lower sensitivity levels of their metabolism tothe activities of E. graminis.
