摘要

The differential cross section and the analyzing powers, A(y), A(yy), A(xx), and A(xz), have been measured for polarized deuteron elastic scattering from Ca-40 at 270 MeV. An optical model analysis reproduces the data with only central, spin-orbit, and T-R tensor terms, and shows the importance of effects arising from the imaginary parts of the potential, in particular for A(xx). No evidence is seen for either a T-P or T-L tenser potential. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved. [References: 37]
