摘要

The elastic wave field due to an instantaneous point normal force applied to the free surface of an isotropic semi-infinite solid (the dynamical Green function) was calculated. The analytical expressions for the displacement on the surface and at the axis were obtained. The types and locations of the displacement singularities for an arbitrary direction were described.
