摘要

Wetland resource management is an importanttask in the protection and utilization of wetlands. Given theenvironmental interests in these wetlands, there is urgentneed for a centralized repository and mechanism to sharegeospatial data, information and maps of wetlands. Ourobjective is to develop an interactive WebGIS andgeodatabase for wetlands providing mapping and dataservices. This paper represents an integrated informationservice platform based on WebGIS using spatial statisticsand analysis method based on ArcGIS Server to manageand utilize wetland resources. The system adopts theBrowser / Server architecture, dot NET framework, andArcGIS Server component to improve the performance ofcurrent system. The functions of this system are mapdistributing, query and display, spatial statistics andanalysis, scientific education, remote management, andwetland resource sharing. It has much superiority like goodcompatibility, convenient data maintenance, high efficiency,and code security, etc. The system scalability and databasestability have been improved greatly. Practical applicationshows that the system can fully satisfy the requirement ofwetland resource management and achieves expected goals.
