摘要

In the process of industrial aluminum electrolysis, the change of anode cathode distance (ACD) has a great influence on the cell voltage and anode currents. However, the anode current distribution carries a lot of information about cell condition, including the change of anode cathode distance, which is an important means to monitor the local cell conditions. In this paper, an equivalent circuit model of aluminum electrolytic cell is built by using M language in MATLAB, and the problem of algebraic loops’ constraint in SIMULINK simulation model is solved. Besides, the paper studies that the changes of the cell voltage and anode current of the 500 KA series aluminum electrolysis caused by the decrease of anode cathode distance in different conditions. The results show that the branch current is more obvious to the local condition of the electrolytic cell, and the interference is relatively small, which can be used as an important index for judging the local characteristics of the cell condition.
