Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of modified ginger moxibustion in treatment of deficiency cold of spleen and stomach type epigastric pain and related nursing measures. Methods A total of 80 patients with deficiency cold of spleen and stomach type epigastric pain were randomly divided into the study group and the control group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given western medicine combined with ginger moxibustion, while the study group received western medicine combined with modified ginger moxibustion, as well as nursing interventions based on traditional Chinese medicine. Results The effect of treatment was compared between two groups. Results The overall effective rate was 90.0%(36/40)in the study group and was 65.0%(26/40)in the control group, with a significant difference(P0.05). Conclusion Modified ginger moxibustion and nursing interventions based on traditional Chinese medicine are effective approaches in treatment of deficiency cold of spleen and stomach type epigastric pain.
