摘要

Abstract:Objective To establish the course of ostomy care and to investigate the specialist nursing course in training of advanced vocational nursing students. Methods 〓Totally 239 nursing students were assigned to the observation group(n=121)and the control group(n=118). All patients attended the clinical practice training curriculum, and those in the observation group took the extra course of ostomy care. The perception of students on specialist nursing course was investigated, and the results of theory and practice test were observed. The nursing capacity of students at internship period was evaluated by their clinical teachers. Results 〓Students in the observation group were satisfied with curriculum framework of the ostomy care course, and achieved higher scores of theory and practice test after finishing the course(P0.05). Students in the observation group achieved higher scores in assessment of practice skills, health education and humanity care compared with those in the control group(P0.05). Conclusion 〓Establishment of the ostomy care course can arouse vocational nursing students’ interest in learning and improve their comprehensive ability in clinical practice.
