Communicative Function of Costume Language: Aspects of Non-verbal Communication

The article deals with the description of costume communicative function. Clothes serve as a social sign, which denotes the position of an individual in the social system. Costume defines gender, age, social status, congeneric belonging and ethnicity of its wearer.
