Einleitend wird zunächst die aktuelle Situation der Ausrüstung von Fahrzeugen mit ETCS betrachtet und eine genaue Analyse der Kostenstruktur gegeben. Anhand dieser Kostenstruktur werden dann die wesentlichen Kostentreiber identifiziert und unterschiedliche Ansätze zur Kostenreduktion diskutiert. At first the current situation of the equipment of vehicles with ETCS is examined and a detailed analysis of the cost structure is given. Based on the cost structure the main cost drivers are identified and different approaches for cost reduction are discussed. In the conclusion an outlook on the current and future initiatives is given.
