The development activities of Bombardier Transportation DWA GmbH are based on the principle of combining innovative vehicle elements and subsystems with proven and reliable technology with the aim to meets the future demands of railway customers and operators.When evaluating products ,the railways primarily focus on safety ,reliability, comfort and cost-effetiveness .The goals to be achieved include a vehicle design ensuring customer attraction and the lowest possible life cycle costs(LCC) by cost-effective use and operation, low maintenance costs and environmentally compatible vehicle concepts that are easy to recycle at acceptable expense-to-revenue ratios for the industry.
