The good thing about growing economies is the increase in global trade that follows that growth. The bad thing is that growth creates a challenge for a region's ports to handle the inevitable congestion. That is the current state of ports throughout the EU. In the last several years, Europe's economies have been gaining strength and have begun to put pressure on its ports to keep up with bulging import volumes.
