RO desalination is one of the fastest growing technologies due to its advanced features and cost reduction as the technology develops. Newer processes are reaching the global water market in certain applications. Combination of RO technology with newer processes may accelerate the development of RO and of the newer processes at the same time, providing significant energy savings and improving technologies to desalinate water and control salinity.
