San Diego utility orders SIPOS actuators

SIPOS Aktorik GmbH, part of the AUMA Group, secured a major order from the San Diego County Authority in the US state of California for its HiMod electric actuators. The utility selected the actuators to assist with control of water flow to remote valves that support city agencies including San Diego, Escondido, La Jolla, and Oceanside. AUMA Actuators Inc. will provide commissioning and ongoing support. An initial order for seven SIPOS actuators was delivered to SDCWA's Rancho Hydroelectric facility in San Diego. The devices will be adopted on lines ranging from 91 to 152 centimeters (36 to 60 inches).
