Public water utilities are increasingly relying on underwater drones, known as remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), to conduct routine safety and maintenance inspections of their reservoirs and other water storage facilities. ROVs enable utilities to keep water services online while performing inspections, which saves considerable costs.
