Grand old man of PB Tom Kuesel passes away

Hailed widely as an authority on tunnel and bridge engineering, Thomas R Kuesel died at the age of 83, having enjoyed a 43-year career with Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB).rnDuring his productive career, he is said to have contributed to the design of more than 140 tunnels both in the US and abroad.rnProjects included the Fort McHenry tunnel in Baltimore, Maryland; the second Hampton Roads bridge-tunnel in Virginia; the Cumberland Cap tunnel in Tennessee and Kentucky; the Mount Macdonald/Rogers Pass Tunnel in British Columbia; and the Bosporus Tunnel in Istanbul.
