NC city chooses pipebursting to renew water main

Static pipebursting is being used by the City of Greensboro in North Carolina to replace its deteriorated gravity sewer lines. This is in addition to upgrading old 100mm cast-iron water distribution lines using open-cut. Contractor KRG Utility has been using a Grundoburst 800C pipeburster, which has been pulling through 150mm fusible C-900 PVC pipe (FPVC) sourced from Underground Solutions.
