Trade and Climate Change: A Report by the United Nations Environment Programme and the World Trade Organization

On 26 June 2009, the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the United Nations (UN) Environment Programme (UNEP) launched their new joint Report Trade and Climate Change [WTO-UNEP Report].1 The Report raised eyebrows around the world for several reasons. To start with, the project had not been announced in advance and neither organization posted a draft report on its website for public comment.
