The Oxford Handbook on the World Trade Organization

To compile the volume on the World Trade Organization, The Oxford Handbook series enlisted a team composed of an economist (Robert Stern), a historian (Martin Daunton), and a political scientist (Amrita Narlikar). They, in turn, drafted an all-star team of their peers as well as lawyers, practitioners, and members of the WTO staff. The result is a rich interdisciplinary volume that achieves its purpose of providing a holistic understanding of the WTO. Through 34 contributions organized into nine parts, the volume tackles the questions of how and why the multilateral trading system has succeeded to date and provides an analysis of the challenges ahead.
